Thanks to its steeply pitched poles and two vestibules, the REAL DOME LITE II is very spacious and offers room for two people. It is quick and easy to pitch. The DAC aluminum poles are designed to make the tent extremely wind-resistant. Two openings in the roof area, the two doors, and four large, coverable mesh areas in the inner tent ensure optimal ventilation. The silicone coating makes the tent waterproof. The outer tent material is coated with silicone on both sides, which significantly reduces weight while increasing tear resistance and UV resistance. Since conventional seam tape does not adhere to silicone-coated (tent) materials, a special swelling thread is used, which swells when wet and seals the seams. Nevertheless, it is recommended to treat relevant seams additionally with a silicone seam sealant (available from online retailers).
