The spacious, super-light STRATOS LITE III dome tent is ideal for trekking and biking tours and offers space for three people. It is made largely from recycled materials. The lightweight, interconnected DAC aluminum poles make the tent wind-resistant and easy to pitch. Only a few pegs are needed to secure it – ideal on hard ground. The breathable inner and outer tents are connected and attached to the outer poles. The outer tent material is coated with silicone on both sides, which significantly reduces weight while increasing tear resistance and UV resistance. Since conventional seam tape does not adhere to silicone-coated (tent) materials, a special swelling thread is used, which swells when wet and seals the seams. Nevertheless, it is recommended to treat relevant seams additionally with a silicone seam sealant (available from online retailers).
