Sandwich construction for best grip with maximum dynamics. SCOTT uses a paulownia and poplar wood core in an elliptical shape for the best edge-to-edge performance. The ski has two different layers of carbon: Carbon strips for suspension and 45-degree fibers for torsion control. A Titanal layer underfoot provides cushioning so you can tackle any terrain with ease. Because traditional materials have been replaced by higher quality ones, you get the same performance with less weight and the ski glides better over powder snow.
