OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. If a textile item has been awarded the STANDARD 100 label, all components of this item, i.e. all threads, buttons, and other accessories, have been tested for harmful substances and the item is therefore harmless to health.

All components of an item must comply with the strict OEKO-TEX testing criteria: from the coating, the outer fabric, and the sewing thread to the appliqué and zipper. The testing criteria are uniform worldwide and are updated at least once a year based on new scientific findings or legal requirements. The tests and certifications are carried out exclusively by neutral and independent testing institutes of the OEKO-TEX community. The validity of the certification can be checked at any time using the number entered on the label.
